Life is spiral, not a circle.

The Sun is now in Gate 53. This is the Gate of Development, also known as the Gate of Beginnings.

Here we have the pressure to begin new cycles of growth. Sensing transition and change, this energy provides the fuel to remain steadfast in the maturation of a young process.

Gate 53 is a mechanical energy stemming from the root center. This is not a conscious awareness, rather, a pressure we sense at a subtle level. This Cancer frequency seeks to start a new cycle or process, often on the foundations and lessons of what has been successful before.

The gift of the time is the patience to remain with the process of expansion and evolution, even when all the detail are not yet clear.

To begin something, or to mature it the next phase of development, is often confusing or full of nervous anticipation.

From work projects, to whole life upgrades, to budding relationships, to a baby’s first steps - this week is about noticing what you feel compelled to push to the next level.

The time is ticking now to provide the momentum, pragmatism, and assuredness to pursue expansion step by step.

Note that Gate 53 is a format energy, subject to feelings of frustration and depression without a proper outlet. The harmonic Gate 42 (Aries) provides the energy to complete cycles, but is not active in the transits.

You may experience a pressure or yearning for newness. A “grass is always greener” mentality can leave you feeling solemn, or tempted to start things you have no real intention of completing. This is simply the force of conditioning.

The grounding energy for this transit is shown by the Earth in Gate 54 - Ambition (a Capricorn frequency). This is the fuel to push upward and achieve more the smart (not hard) way.

Dedicated work, timely restraint (think before you act), a healthy self-esteem, and most importantly, the right connections will help you to get where you’re going, so you don’t burn up all your energy on too many new distractions.
